HOW IS POVERTY AFFECTING THE LIVES OF CITIZENS IN SOUTH LA? AND HOW CAN WE HELP TO CHANGE IT?

We know that is hard to end poverty. Poverty is not a simple and short termed to process, especially if we want a big transformation. A lot of people think that there are no solutions to end poverty, but they are wrong because there are many solutions. We know that is not so easy and that is going to take a lot of time but, we always got to start from something. In my opinion the government should make quality education because out there are a lot of people who want to achieve their goals, but they don’t have the resources to pay college or a university that’s why I think that government should help those who really want a better future for him/her and their families. How we showed in this picture if we really put all our effort to end poverty every year the percentage would decrease every year. We are going to demonstrate that poverty have solutions that there are a lot of places where people can get help.

   "Poverty is general scarcity or death, or the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money. Absolute poverty or destitution refers to the deprivation of basic human needs, which commonly includes food, water, sanitation, clothing, shelter, health care and education". ( Wikipedia.org 2014) Many times we think that we can't do nothing about it, although  there are lots of programs that help people that live in the streets or those who don't have financial resources to raised their families. We want solutions to end poverty and we know that we can do a lot for those who want to succeed in life.EndPoverty.org is a program that helps hard working families around the developing world free themselves from poverty.              There are many problems about poverty, one of them is that people don’t have enough money to get an education, good nutrition, and also don’t have a safe place to raise their families. They cope with harsh social, economic, and environmental hardships. Sometimes the problems of poverty are extensive and complex because if parents don’t get help to get a future for them, their children will follow the same steps of their parents.  Also a lot of times people can’t achieve their goals because they don’t have the resources they need to succeed.  They can’t even ask for loans because the lender interest rates are very high and people can’t afford it. A lot of people think that there are no solutions for this but they are wrong because there are solutions. Some reach for success a lot of people don’t give up and they go look for opportunity and they find place like( Mentors International) who helps people get loans in banks. Loans are not very high, but it helps the poor gain the ability to work their way out of poverty one step at a time.
